Progressive Dinner 2011

03/12/2011 7:00 pm

The Waban Improvement Society’s Eighth Annual Progressive Dinner is just around the corner---March 12, 2011. Your attendance in past years has helped make this evening one of our neighborhood’s most popular and cherished new traditions. Every year, we are all treated to an evening of new and renewed friendships, the warm hospitality of neighbors, delicious cuisine and delightful conversation. We come together as neighbors in one another’s homes and are once again reminded of how exceptional Waban truly is.

We are extending an early invitation to you in advance of our official invitations, which will be mailed within the next week. Please mark your calendars for the night of March 12th at 7pm and plan to be a part of it all again this year! Early RSVPs are now being accepted ( or 617.332-1654).

If you would like to open your home to host dessert for all guests (approximately 100 people), please let me know. Previous dessert hosts have been Anki Wolf, Portia Pantages, Liz and Nick Zagorianakos, Daun Anderson and Bill Diaper, Michelle and Darren Black, Kelly and Jeff Woolbert. Our thanks, again, for opening your homes to Waban.

When you RSVP, please include the following information; name and email, street address and phone number, whether you can host an appetizer or main course. If you are unable to host a course, please indicate whether you can bring a side dish and beverage or a dessert.

A donation of $15.00 per person for Waban Improvement Society members and $20.00 per person for non-members is requested to help benefit our organization’s neighborhood activities. If you are hosting a course, your contribution will be the course you are hosting.

We look forward to seeing you on March 12th and hope that you will help us spread the word about this fabulous evening by encouraging your Waban neighbors to attend!
